"Agilent 8890 GC system" built and delivered by SEM-AZ in the central laboratory of "Azersun". This system is used for the analysis of vegetable and animal oils. What else is this system good for in general?

The browser interface allows remote monitoring of the smart GC system, enabling users to check logs, perform diagnostics, and manage the system from anywhere. The touch screen provides a comprehensive visual overview of system configuration, allowing users to update methods, conduct maintenance, and check instrument status. The system's built-in intelligence autonomously monitors and alerts users to potential issues, offering step-by-step guides for resolution.

The sixth-generation microchannel-based EPC architecture enhances reliability and longevity by protecting against gas contaminants, improving system uptime and extending instrument consumable life. Capillary Flow Technology (CFT) modules support multidimensional gas chromatography, comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography, and backflush options.

A single-filament thermal conductivity detector (TCD) ensures stability without a separate reference gas or manual adjustments. An auto-ranging flame ionization detector (FID) allows detection and quantitation across a wide range in a single injection, compatible with all GC/MS platforms. The sulfur or nitrogen chemiluminescence detector offers low ppb detection without quenching.

The system features a Helium conservation module, Gas Saver, and alternative carrier gas solutions for helium reduction, providing flexibility and cost savings. An optional Hydrogen Sensor Module Series 2 detects leaks and shuts off gas flows, requiring calibration only every six months. Smart Keys, included with GC columns, automate method setup, and the independent ACT label provides environmental impact information throughout the product life cycle.
