SEM-AZ participated in the 1st International Azerbaijan Laboratory Medicine Congress & Lab Expo (AZLTK & LAB EXPO 2023) held in Baku between May 3-5, 2023, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Haydar Aliyev. This congress was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the All-National Leader of Azerbaijan Haydar Aliyev and was very important because it was the first. The SEM-AZ team, known for its contributions and experiences in the field of clinical laboratory, increased its experience by participating with its stand in the exhibition held within the framework of the first national congress of clinical laboratory specialists of Azerbaijan.
 
   As the medical landscape continues to evolve with advances in technology and research, it is important for professionals to gather, reflect, and collaboratively address existing challenges and opportunities. With this in mind, the congress aimed to create a platform for experts to review and discuss current issues in various fields of laboratory medicine. This includes critical topics in clinical biochemistry, clinical microbiology, and the rapidly developing field of genetics. All aspects of laboratory medicine, including clinical biochemistry, clinical microbiology and genetics, were reviewed and discussed at this congress. The program of the congress organized in three different halls included topics related to the fields of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology, Genetics, and Pathology of laboratory medicine. In addition to these areas in the halls of Medical/Clinical Biochemistry and Genetics, topics on molecular biology, genetics, toxicology, immunology, hematology and endocrinology; In the Medical/Clinical Microbiology hall, in addition to this field, all topics related to microbiology, especially immunology, environmental microbiology, vaccines, epidemics, microbiota, as well as global health, syndromic approaches and bioinformatics were discussed.
 
The SEM-AZ team also participated in the exhibition held during this congress with its stand and presented its products and services to the visitors.

At the end, SEM-AZ was awarded with "Certificate of Participation in the Congress" for its participation in the conference.
