For example, more than 50 metabolites of vitamin D circulate in the blood. Since the analyses conducted by the immunoassay method cannot completely separate these metabolites and release the vitamin, they cannot reflect the mass of vitamin D in the body as it is. The Agilent LC-MS/MS Ultivo method is used to optimize test results. Agilent LC-MS/MS Ultivo is also needed in many biological processes, such as vitamin D, calcium and phosphorus uptake, immune system robustness, and control of cell growth.
